This is the book that inspired me to blog about sustainable economics and renewable energy. It’s dated now, but it provides glimpses into what we have already accomplished that open the imagination to hope for what we can do.
Since publishing this book Chris Turner has run as the Federal Green Party Candidate for Calgary Centre in the 2012 general elections and has published The Leap.
I have read the Leap and found profitable. However, as the motivator for my entry into the fray, The Geography of Hope has a greater place in my heart & memory. The Leap is good but for me it blended into the background noise. That’s probably more of a comment on my own filters and information wash than it is on Turner’s work.
